Event Summary | There has been a steady increase in the number of cases in schools surrounding the use of Social Media. This course has been designed to help schools deal with situations and manage any risks associated with these. |
||||||
Event description | The purpose of this course is to equip you with the tools to manage situations if they arise in relation to social media, through proper frameworks, processes and following good practice and keeping on the right side of Employment Law. What do we mean by social media? We will provide you with an understanding of all the parts that make up social media, what drives social media, what lies behind it and what you can do to manage this growing trend. This also applies to how staff conduct themselves outside of school, making it clear that someone's actions outside of school could also have an impact on the employment relationship. By the end of this course you will have a greater understanding of social media, the potential impact it may have on your school and how best this should be managed. |
